"I've had fish, chips and mushy peas from this chippy a couple of times recently and it's exactly what fish and chips should be like. Good size fresh fish and very generous portion chips. I think the negative reviews are just malicious and not honest, which is a shame. I guess they have their reasons but there's nothing wrong with the food, it's top notch."

"Ordered from here a few times. Chips are always lovely, kebabs are MASSIVE and not overally greasy and they even went above and beyond to sort something out for my son who has food allergies he could eat something. Staff are lovely as well. Definitely recommend"

"Popped in today for lunch and was greeted with a smile by the new management team. Ordered a donor burger special. The best and i mean the best donor ive ever had. Will be coming back. If you haven't tried it get in there you're missing out!"

"First time ordering food from here via Uber Eats. Great chip shop, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Chips were nice and crispy as was the batter on the fish, nice and bubbly/crunchy. The scallop was a bit greasy (BUT that's my personal preference, nothing some kitchen roll couldn't fix). The mixed meat was delicious, particularly the tikka meat as it was not fat filled, which makes a change (I ummed and argghhhhed over ordering it as its become so chewy/fatty in so many chippies now) best tikka meat I've had in along time . Both meals were big portions (other half NEVER finshes a meal but he ate fish and chips AND a saveloy, left NOTHING) Proves the tastiness to me .... Dog loved her sausage and left over meat .... overall a nice alrounder chip shop (there aren't many left now). Would definitely use again in the future, nicest chip shop in the wider area at the moment (we are B31, have AT LEAST 5 others closer to us) but all have become too greasy."
